As I know many of us are struggling with lockdown and isolation during these difficult times. Having worked Almost everyday so far during this pandemic, I have seen many things that alarm me. In response to this I’d like to share with you all some words of encouragement from Hebrews 13:1-2 (NIVUK) which says this: “Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” The reason I’ve chosen to share these verses with you are because, we’re all struggling but we must pull together, whilst still being apart to care for one another. Even strangers! It’s this compassion for others that is really needed at times like these to create not only less tension but positivity despite these uncertain times. We all have stress, but the Lord can help relieve our stresses if we give them up to him. I can attest this works as I’ve experienced it for myself first hand. As the Lord says at the end of Hebrews 13:5 “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” I have spent nights in prayer for my stress and I always wake the next morning feeling more relieved, although my circumstances may not have changed, I have faith that God will help me get through them. And he can do the same for you too!
